The Governor’s Cup 2024 was held from 7th June to 09th June, 2024.  In which 123 players from all over India participated.  From St. Joseph’s College, Nainital a total of 7 students participated. They are: Krishnan Vinayak, Aarav Singh Sandhu, Karan Singh, Advait Agarwal, Ram Bansal, Emir Usmani & Neil Shankar Shah.

The Final day was on Sunday 09th June, 2024 and there were about 40 players in all. From Sem 6 qualified for the Final’s.

Aarav Singh Sandhu was declared the winner of Under 15 – 17 years and Karan Singh was declared the Runner Up of 12 – 15 years category.

Neil Shankar Shah, a student of Class 2, at St. Joseph's College, Nainital was awarded the 'Youngest Golfer' trophy, at the Governor's Cup, Golf Tournament held at Raj Bhawan, Nainital.

Neil is going to turn 7 he has been learning Golf since two months now and is very passionate about the game. He is learning it's nuances and honing his skills, he hopes to continue playing to the best of his ability.
