Mother’s Day- Handprint Photo Frame
Class: 3B
Date: 9th May 2026
Venue: Classroom
Teacher In-charge: Ms. M. M. DaCosta
On 9th May 2026, the students of Class 3B enthusiastically participated in a special Mother’s Day craft activity conducted in the classroom under the guidance of Ms. M. M. DaCosta. The purpose of the activity was to help the children express their love, gratitude, and appreciation for their mothers through a creative handmade gift.
The students created beautiful handprint photo frames using black chart paper, ice cream sticks, white paint, and red colour for decoration. Each child carefully made a white hand impression on the black paper, which formed the main design of the craft. A small red heart was added in the centre of the palm to symbolise love and affection for their mothers. The handprint artwork was then framed neatly using ice cream sticks, giving it a creative and attractive appearance.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the activity and showed great excitement while painting their hands and assembling their frames. They participated actively and displayed creativity, patience, and neatness throughout the session. The classroom was filled with joy and enthusiasm as the students worked together to prepare their special Mother’s Day gifts.
The activity not only enhanced the students’ artistic skills and creativity but also encouraged them to value and appreciate the unconditional love and care of their mothers. The handmade frames turned out beautifully, and the children were delighted to take their creations home as a heartfelt token of love for Mother’s Day.
