Description: Class 10A conducted the assembly on 13th April, 2026, on the topic “Mental Health” with the aim of spreading awareness about the importance of emotional and psychological well-being among students. The assembly began with a morning prayer, creating a calm and reflective atmosphere for everyone present.
The program opened with a brief introduction highlighting what mental health means and why it is as important as physical health. The students explained how stress, anxiety, peer pressure, lack of acknowledge, etc, can affect young minds and emphasized the need to talk openly about feelings.
A short skit was performed to portray common issues faced by students, such as academic pressure and social anxiety. The skit effectively highlighted the fact that a little help from the people around can be very beneficial. This was followed by a speech that focused on simple ways to maintain good mental health, such as maintaining a balanced routine, engaging in hobbies, staying connected with loved ones, and practicing mindfulness.
The assembly spread the thought of encouraging positivity and self-care with the motto to inspire the audience to be more empathetic and supportive towards one another.
The program concluded with a message from Br. Sebastian, who encouraged students to prioritize their mental well-being and to reach out whenever they feel overwhelmed.
