Roy “Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.” – Norman Vincent Peale The much-awaited Christmas Cantata a Night of Miracles was celebrated on 27th November 2025 with grandeur and joy, filling the atmosphere with love, hope, and togetherness. With seven soul-stirring Christmas songs and a moving presentation of the Nativity story, the celebration beautifully captured the true spirit of the season. The event opened with the enchanting voices of the Cantata Choir Boys, whose harmonious singing set a warm and festive tone. Each musical piece seamlessly blended with scenes from the Nativity Play, vividly portraying the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem, the humble birth of Jesus, and the joyful arrival of the shepherds and wise men. The angelic choir announcing the good news was a standout moment, especially as their rendition of “O Come, All Ye Faithful” echoed through the hall with grace and reverence. Classes 1 and 2 added a lively and cheerful touch to the celebration with their vibrant dance performances to “Jingle Bells” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” Their enthusiasm lit up the stage, and Santa Claus dancing among the audience brought waves of excitement and laughter. A serene and memorable highlight of the morning was the candlelight presentation during “Silent Night.” The soft glows of the candles created a magical and peaceful ambience, reminding everyone of the warmth, light, and hope that Christmas brings. The program concluded with an inspiring address by Principal Brother S. George, who beautifully expressed the deeper meaning of Christmas. He emphasized kindness, sharing, compassion, and unity, encouraging everyone to uphold the spirit of Christmas throughout the year. He also extended heartfelt thanks to the teachers-in-charge for their dedication and hard work. The grand finale brought the entire cast and choir together for a joyful performance of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas,” symbolizing unity, hope, and celebration. The combined efforts of the Nativity Play and the Cantata Choir Boys made the event a resounding success, leaving the audience uplifted and filled with festive cheer.
