REPORT ON CLASS ASSEMBLY – CLASS 10B
Topic: Civic Sense
Date: 16th April
On 16th April, Class 10B conducted a well-organized and meaningful assembly on the topic “Civic Sense.” The assembly witnessed remarkable participation, with approximately 43 out of 46 students actively contributing, reflecting a strong sense of teamwork, confidence, and enthusiasm among the boys.
The program commenced with a serene prayer, setting a positive and disciplined tone for the assembly. This was followed by a series of thoughtful presentations by students, where they shared valuable insights on the importance of civic sense and responsible behaviour in everyday life.
A major highlight of the assembly was an engaging skit based on a courtroom setting. The skit portrayed “Civic Sense” as a victim, illustrating how it is often ignored and neglected by society. Through impactful performances and meaningful dialogue, the students effectively conveyed the consequences of irresponsible behaviour and emphasised the need for awareness and accountability.
The students also presented practical rules and habits to promote civic sense, such as maintaining cleanliness, minimising noise pollution, and following discipline in public spaces. These simple yet effective guidelines encouraged everyone to adopt responsible practices in their surroundings.
Another significant segment of the assembly was a questionnaire round, where students raised thought-provoking questions related to civic responsibilities. This was followed by the presentation of a survey conducted by the students, in which 122 individuals participated. The survey focused on cleanliness and civic habits, and its findings were shared to provide a realistic understanding of public attitudes and the need for improvement.
An inspiring initiative taken by the students was a cleanliness drive, the video of which was showcased during the assembly. This effort highlighted the importance of taking initiative and setting an example rather than merely spreading awareness.
The assembly concluded on an uplifting note with the song “Be the Light,” conveying a message of hope, self-improvement, and positive change.
The efforts of the students were highly appreciated by the Principal, who praised their outstanding participation, creativity, and the strong message conveyed through the assembly.
