Class Report: Calendar Making Activity

Class: 3B

Date: 28th April 2026

Subject: Social Studies

On 28th April 2026, the students of Class 3B participated in an engaging and educational activity on Calendar Making as part of their Social Studies lesson. The objective of the activity was to help students understand the concept of a calendar, including days, weeks, months, and the importance of dates in daily life.

The session began with a brief explanation of what a calendar is and how it helps us organise time, remember important events, and plan our daily activities. Students were shown examples of different types of calendars and were guided on how months and days are arranged.

Following the explanation, students were asked to create their own calendars. They carefully wrote the days of the week, filled in the dates correctly, and decorated their calendars creatively using colours and drawings. The activity encouraged both creativity and logical thinking.

Students showed great enthusiasm and actively participated throughout the session. They demonstrated a clear understanding of sequencing days and dates, and many students were able to identify special days such as birthdays and holidays.

Overall, the activity was successful in making learning enjoyable and meaningful. It enhanced the students’ understanding of time and organisation while also developing their fine motor and presentation skills.
