REPORT ON LABOUR’S DAY PROGRAM 2026
To honour the contribution of workers, acknowledge the efforts of the school’s support staff and instill respect for dignity of labour among students, Labour’s day program was celebrated with full enthusiasm by the students, teaching staff and management.
The assembly began with welcome speech followed by the prayer. Support staffs were greeted by students with handmade cards. Students from junior wing presented a mesmerizing welcome dance. Students of standard 10 presented a skit showing the role of gardener, security guard, kitchen staff and sanitation workers. They urged the students to show gratitude and respect for labour through everyday action like maintaining cleanliness and being courteous.
Speakers from student body and teaching staff highlighted the history and significance of the day. Students of standard 12 presented a video showing the importance of labour.
The attraction of the program was the folk songs presented by oursupport staff which were enjoyed and appreciated by everyone present.
The support staff was felicitated and honoured by the management with a token of appreciation. Principal Brother S. George thanked them for their year round dedication that keeps the school running smoothly.
The Labour’s day assembly was a thoughtful tribute to the hands that build and sustain our community. It reminded students that respect and gratitude should extend to every individual regardless of their role.
The assembly concluded with college anthem followed by national anthem.
