The students of Class 9 A conducted the morning assembly on 25th of April 2026 on the inspiring topic “The Power of Positive Thinking”. The aim was to highlight how a positive mindset can transform challenges into opportunities and bring success in life.
Proceedings of the Assembly
Opening Speeches: The assembly commenced with insightful speeches by students of Class 9A. They explained the meaning of positive thinking and shared meaningful quotes of personalities like Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and Helen Keller who achieved greatness through optimism.
This was followed by a thought-provoking skit titled “The Power of Positivity”. Through a story of four students facing exam tensions, the skit beautifully showed how a positive attitude helps one overcome setbacks while negativity leads to despair. The performance received loud applause.
Students of Class 9A then recited a motivational poem in English emphasizing hope, courage, and self-belief.
A few more students spoke on “How to Develop Positive Thinking” and gave practical tips like gratitude , affirmations, and avoiding negative company.
Sashwat Pant of Class 9A presented an impressive PowerPoint presentation enriched with quotes, visuals, and short videos on the impact of positive thinking on health, academics, and relationships.
The assembly concluded with an enlightening address by our Principal, Rev. Brother. Sebastian George. He praised the efforts of Class 9A and reminded everyone that “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference”. He encouraged students to face life with a smile and a can-do spirit.
The assembly ended with the College Anthem followed by the National Anthem.
The assembly was highly engaging and left everyone motivated. It successfully conveyed that positive thinking is not just a habit but a way of life that leads to success and happiness.
